I took a few minutes to chat with several of the dancers....always great to make new line dance friends. I hope to see them again on a dance floor soon.
Big thanks out to Carol for doing a quick teach of "Dreams Can Come True" and to all her group for letting me video tape them. We also took video of Carol's dance "Gotta Love to Boogie"....fun improver dance that I think many of the Steppin' Out dancers would enjoy.
          Everyone is going to miss Carol while she              is back in the UK and will be doing a                 countdown until her return to Florida. I wish            I had been back from Texas earlier to be              here to attend more of her socials....
  Count me in for next year!
Note from Carol:  Hi, Thank you to all those that came out to my last social---- till November. I want to thank those of you that
have supported me, the last 6months It's been fun. I know I've enjoyed them.
We had 3 free door prizes at 9pm and threw in 3 general knowledge question, right answer got a small prize. Sorry if your request never got played (tried to mix them up) but we simply ran out of time.
We also had a surprise when Terri Alexander (from Steppin out) her husband, & Linda and group decided to have a road trip to come dance with us... Terri's husband came armed with his video and camera and (not sure how much he took) of us dancing... Do know he took us dancing Terri's dance Dreams can come True (nice little 32  count dance) with alternative ending -makes it really feel good Also video'd my dance Gotta Love to Boogie.(Check out you tube! Soon)

Note from Linda: What a great time at Carol's social last Saturday night. Several of the group from Steppin' Out decided to take a road trip and dance the night away. Carol reviewed several dances for us which was really helpful. We will miss her during the summer, however, she assured us she would keep in touch via email.         "Steppin' Out" Instructors:
Carol, Terri, Darlene, Eileen, and Linda
   On  Saturday April 25, 2009, John and I, along with Darlene, Linda, Amanda, and Linda, took a road trip over to Belleview to join Carol at Dancing Shadows for her last social this season. What a great time we all had! Carol's socials are "all requests" and those were flying in fast.
Nice wood floors for dancing and the tables had chips and a variety of candies for everyone to nibble on throughout the evening...if you ever took time to leave the floor!
